Event Recap: The Printing House Townhouses

Celebrating cutting-edge design at one of the West Village’s most exciting new residences.

Last week, Surface welcomed over 150 people to the new Townhouses and Landscaped Mews at The Printing House in New York City’s West Village. Tucked next to the Italian Renaissance building on Hudson Street is a pair of modern townhouses designed by architect Andrew Kotchen from Workshop/APD. Throughout the five-level space were specially 3D-printed items from design brand Othr, including a bottle opener, candleholders, and a bath set. Additionally, there was a 3-D printing demo set up by Workshop/APD. Kotchen, Othr’s founders, and developer Myles Horn were in attendance, sharing their creations with guests.

Thank you to Corcoran Sunshine and The Printing House for co-hosting and to Othr and Workshop/APD for participating.
