"My photography work involves capturing the traditional simplicity and natural beauty of my sitters, without over embellishing and stylizing their character. I prefer to capture what the quiet gaze, and pensive moment brings forth, if indeed I'm lucky enough to experience it with those whom I'm shooting.
I aim to capture the micro moments in between the typical forced poses of a model"

GEOF TEAGUE :: ( BIOGRAPHY / SYNOPSIS )
"I grew up on the East Coast before getting my BFA in Photography at the Kansas City Art Institute, followed by my Master's Degree at the San Francisco Art Institute. I then somehow ended up working in the adult industry for seven years before striking out on my own. I now do a bit of everything photographically, but make my living shooting product and events. People are my passion."
"Nothing inspires me more than seeing live music. While these images appear very quiet, the inspiration comes directly from music venues: clashing colored gels, backlighting, energy both on stage and off. Action is always implied with the use of sweat (fake or not) and the sense of heat it evokes. Taking the energy out of the venue and onto a black backdrop distills it down to its essence."
