Bristow | Proffitt Studio

BRISTOW | PROFFITT Studio, formerly known as Poesis, represents the combined efforts of two designers of different backgrounds but a common aesthetic. Bristow likes to make simple, monumental things—buildings, furniture, sculpture—that speak of time. Proffitt designs interiors with lightness, flair, and personality. This unusual pairing resulted in the celebrated Quirk Hotel.
Robert Bristow and Pilar Proffitt understand what it takes to give a space both personality and livability. The two devote equal attention and intention to the architecture of their work as they do to every element that goes inside.
