Fernweh Woodworking

Justin hails from Bend, Oregon, where the closeness of the mountains and forest inspires his creativity and appreciation of woodworking. He is a former marine officer and wildland firefighter, and he loves the phase of life he finds himself in now: where he works for himself creating his own brand and line of contemporary, award-winning furniture.
Fernweh applies traditional woodworking techniques and honest materials—leather, walnut, and maple among them—to contemporary furniture and accessories. The sumptuous results double as pared-down sculptures that pay homage to nature.
