Hariri & Hariri Architecture

Hariri & Hariri Architecture is a New York–based multidisciplinary architecture and design firm established in 1986 by Iranian-born, Cornell University-educated sisters Gisue Hariri & Mojgan Hariri. Today, the two are celebrated as among the most accomplished women in American architecture and design. Hariri & Hariri has been described by critics as one of the most progressive, out-of-the-box firms currently working in the U.S. Their projects run the gamut, from luxury residential developments and hotels to bathroom accessories and single-family homes. For the Hariri sisters, design is a holistic, boundary-less enterprise that includes master-planning, architecture, interior design, furniture, lighting, product design, and jewelry.
Genius obviously runs in this family—siblings Gisue and Mojgan create interiors and buildings that are at once sculptural, forward-thinking, and poetic. Among their unforgettable projects is their Jewels of Salzburg development in Austria, where nature is juxtaposed with bold, geometric forms.
