    Gaggenau Cooks up Brutalist Cuisine During Frieze L.A.

    On Feb. 10, German appliance mainstay Gaggenau welcomed art world glitterati to Los Angeles restaurant Trois Bec in celebration of Frieze's inaugural edition. Renowned chefs Stefan Eriksson, Johan Gottberg, and Ludo Lefebvre prepared a menu focusing on Brutalist Cuisine, which demands that ingredients are used alone in any specific dish (only water and salt may be added). Carsten Höller created an installation as part of the event, featuring a Gaggenau EB333 oven. Notable attendees include Chloe Sevigny, Lykke Li, Doug Aitken, and Lauren Taschen.
