Brand Partnerships Director
Reporting to the SVP Revenue, the Brand Partnerships Director will build revenue for Surface across its web, social and experiential platforms. This is a sales and marketing opportunity for someone looking for a dynamic, fast-paced role.

Sales
- Serve as a revenue lead for Surface
- Work closely with SVP of Revenue to meet company goals
- Maintain a book of business especially in the design/home category
- Identify and close new business and manage incoming leads
- Generate pipeline of prospects by maximizing meetings, outbound calls/emails, and networking opportunities
- Have a creative approach to sales, finding new ways to close business
- Enjoy listening to clients to learn about their business and bring them solutions
- Bring first to market initiatives from Surface to brands
- Expertise in the sales cycle for the industries our clients are in (timing, prospecting and when budgets are planned and deals locked in for the year)
- Experience working with design driven brands and the luxury sector
- Support, mentor and encourage the brand partnerships manager
Client Relations
- Build and maintain client relations
- Work with clients to find solutions when the company does not deliver on their campaigns (damage control)
- Work with internal teams to service clients as needed
Marketing
- Work with marketing team to formulate marketing campaigns for clients from concept to execution including deck creation, pitch, project management and ensuring deliverables are met
- Share feedback from the clients with the marketing team and work with them to identify and develop go-to-market strategies that are custom to the categories you oversee
- Serve as a brand ambassador that helps reinforce Surface as a leader in the industry
Administrative and Miscellaneous
- Build projections (year, by product, etc.)
- Keep internal CRM up to date
- Write up agreements for sold partnerships and ensure that they meet company policies
