BOVET 1822

BOVET 1822 is a Swiss Manufacturer of luxury timepieces. Since its foundation in 1822, BOVET has artfully combined the most sophisticated mechanisms with the finest craftsmanship, employing artisanal techniques such as gem-setting, engraving, and miniature painting. Under the visionary guidance of Owner Mr. Raffy, BOVET 1822 acquired renowned tourbillons and dials manufactures in 2006 and DIMIER 1738 immediately began producing the Maison’s movements, hair springs, and dials in-house. His passion for Haute Horlogerie also led to the introduction of the remarkable Amadéo convertible case system, which draws inspiration from the exquisite 19th century pocket watches produced by BOVET 1822. Today, the House demonstrates its excellence through varied collections that encompass models as emblematic and remarkable as the Virtuoso IX, Récital 26 Brainstorm and Grand Récital tourbillons, to name just a few of its icons. BOVET 1822 has been rewarded with more than 30 awards and distinctions, including the most coveted “Aiguille d’Or” at Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève for the Grand Récital, honoring and the virtuosity of the Maison’ artisans and their intangible passion to define luxury in its most noble expression.
The Swiss House of Bovet has been handcrafting timepieces for over two centuries. Its eminant tourbilllon, the Récital 22 Grand Récital, features a painting of the earth alongside exposed gears, juxtaposing life with the artificial.

Récital 22 Grand Récital

Just as the cosmos knows no bounds, so too, the infinite scope of BOVET Owner Pascal Raffy’s imagination takes its latest form in a newly formed trilogy of celestial timepieces. The Récital 22 Grand Récital tourbillon forms the third chapter in the poetic watchmaking narrative begun by Pascal Raffy and the Maison’s artisans two years ago. Together, they now invite us to observe the three heavenly bodies that set the pace of our lives: the sun, earth, and moon.

Récital 26 Brainstorm® Chapter One

The Récital 26 Brainstorm® Chapter One presents a host of innovations and gives a glimpse of the scope of the unprecedented possibilities for interpreting timekeeping offered by the “writing slope” case. For this first Brainstorm® chapter, Mr. Raffy wanted a sapphire model. Chosen for its crystalline transparency, sapphire is also the second hardest material known after diamond. The lightness of sapphire is also unsurpassed, and in fact weighs less than titanium. This novel choice represented a major challenge for Maison BOVET’s technicians.

Virtuoso IX

This all-new caliber is housed in a 46.30 mm diameter Fleurier Amadéo convertible case. A true icon of the Maison, the Amadéo system transforms the timepiece into a reversible wristwatch, a pocket watch, or a table clock without the use of any tools. Additionally, the Virtuoso IX case is equipped with a fascinating new mechanism, allowing the case back to be opened simply by applying pressure to the crown. The proven ergonomics of the Fleurier case make this timepiece suited for everyday wear. In the same vein, its features and complications will always be of use to the collector, both over time and throughout his travels.

Récital 23

The Récital 23 is the first BOVET women’s timepiece to feature the “writing slope” case, which is designed here for the first time in an oval shape that is 43 mm high and 28.7 mm wide. Hours and minutes occupy an off-center dial at 6 o’clock, while a deeply poetic three-dimensional moon phase is displayed on the upper section of the timepiece.
