The Party On Table

Leah Ring is tapping into everyone’s inner child. The sculptural objects she creates through Another Human, her Los Angeles–based multidisciplinary design studio, use playful geometry and unconventional materials to realize her vision of an idyllic, transcendent consciousness—one where weird is the norm and imaginations are free to roam without roadblocks. Ring draws inspiration from sources ranging from the Memphis Group to outer space, her aesthetic is playful yet highly considered, often blurring the line between design and art.

Inspired by a material often seen at designer Leah Ring’s childhood birthday parties, the Party On table is  named after the iconic line from Wayne's World. Ring wanted to imbue the table with a sense of playfulness and create a product that keeps the party going at all times. The Party On was one of Ring’s earlier acrylic tables, when the designer was first experimenting with translucency and the interaction of varying materials alongside acrylic.
