A celebration of the Panthella lamp, as well as the centenary of designer Verner Panton, Louis Poulsen and For Scale’s New York City pop-up installation and shop invites visitors to step into the legendary figure’s midcentury Danish design influence. A defining facet in Panton’s repertoire, the Panthella lamp debuted in 1971—born from a collaboration with lighting leader Louis Poulsen. It also brought an unconventional expressiveness to minimal, utilitarian Scandinavian design. The installation and shop, running now through March 15, even commenced with a Verner Panton birthday party.
