This Week, Frieze New York will feature 68 galleries from more than 25 countries.

Opening May 13, Frieze New York will mark its 15th edition at The Shed with 68 galleries from 26 countries. This year’s edition places particular emphasis on galleries and artists from Central and South America, supported by new gallery committee members Fátima González of Campeche and Omayra Alvarado of Instituto de Visión, while continuing to balance blue-chip exhibitors such as Gagosian, Hauser & Wirth, Pace, Perrotin, and David Zwirner with younger galleries featured in the Focus section curated by Lumi Tan. Beyond the fair itself, Frieze has expanded institutional partnerships, performance programming, and citywide collaborations.

Tiffany & Co. and the CFDA announced a scholarship for jewelry design students.

Tiffany & Co. and the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) have expanded their Jewelry Designer Award program for its 2026–2027 cycle. New this year is the launch of the Tiffany x CFDA Jewelry Design Scholar Award, which will provide an emerging jewelry design student with a $25,000 scholarship and summer internship at Tiffany & Co., extending the initiative beyond independent designers to support talent at the earliest stages of creative development. Building on the momentum of the inaugural award—which granted designer Jameel Mohammed of Khiry a $50,000 prize and yearlong fellowship at Tiffany—the expanded program reinforces both institutions’ broader commitment to inclusivity, craftsmanship, and long-term investment in the next generation of jewelry designers.

ICFF has announced a November 2027 edition.

The International Contemporary Furniture Fair (ICFF) will move from its longtime May schedule to November starting in 2027. Organizers Odile Hainaut and Claire Pijoulat said the shift responds to mounting industry pressure around the overcrowded spring design calendar—which includes Milan Design Week and High Point Market—and changing travel and budgeting patterns among exhibitors and design firms, particularly international brands that make up roughly half of ICFF’s exhibitor base.
