Jannik Sinner, Ralph Lauren, and Rolex won big in terms of Wimbledon’s media value.

Jannik Sinner, Ralph Lauren, and Rolex emerged as the top media value generators at the 2025 Wimbledon Championships according to data from Launchmetrics. Ralph Lauren led all brands with $22.5 million in media impact value, while Sinner, who won the men’s singles title, generated $9.1 million—$4.7 million for Rolex, which he wore while lifting the trophy. His Instagram post tagging both Rolex and Nike was the tournament’s most valuable, driving $1.4 million alone. Gucci also benefited from its ties to Sinner, with subtle activations and a pre-tournament dinner helping the brand earn over half a million in media value.

Newly minted Chanel creative director Matthieu Blazy is bringing its Métiers d’art show to New York.

Chanel will stage its next Métiers d’art show in New York City on December 2, marking the brand’s first return to the city since 2018. The announcement comes ahead of Matthieu Blazy’s debut as creative director for the house, set for October in Paris. Chanel president Bruno Pavlovsky noted that Blazy’s familiarity with New York will shape the show’s creative direction. While the venue remains under wraps, the event signals a major moment in Chanel’s evolving identity under new leadership.

Prominent art advisory Guggenheim Asher Associates has fallen apart in the face of legal issues.

Guggenheim Asher Associates, a powerhouse in the art advisory world for nearly four decades, has unraveled amid explosive legal disputes between co-founders Barbara Guggenheim and Abigail Asher. Each woman has filed lawsuits accusing the other of financial misconduct, fraud, and personal betrayal, with allegations ranging from misappropriated funds to unethical business practices. Guggenheim claims Asher siphoned off millions and started a rival firm in secret, while Asher alleges years of manipulation and erratic behavior on Guggenheim’s part. The lawsuits, which surfaced publicly this week, expose deep fractures at a time when the art market is already under strain.
