Post Malone is getting into fashion with a menswear label launching in Paris.

Post Malone is preparing to debut his own menswear label, Austin Post, with a Paris runway show on September 1 timed to the sunset. Known for mixing everything from embroidered blazers to denim-on-denim looks, the musician is shaping the brand around his eclectic personal style. While this marks his first solo venture into fashion design, his past collaborations include Crocs, Stanley, Ugg, and most recently Skims. The launch coincides with his European tour, which includes a Paris performance two days later.

Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Hermès, and Willy Chavarria are among the most in-demand brands on eBay.

Louis Vuitton, Chanel, and Hermès continue to dominate resale activity on eBay, with millions of listings each, while Van Cleef & Arpels has surged in value as buyers treat fine jewelry as long-term investments. The platform’s latest Watchlist also highlights Willy Chavarria, whose bold menswear fueled a 400 percent jump in global searches this year. Other rising labels include Martine Rose in the U.K. and Coperni in France, reflecting growing interest in next-generation designers.

After a yearlong vacancy, the Dallas Museum of Art has named Brian Ferriso as director.

Brian Ferriso will take the helm at the Dallas Museum of Art (DMA) this December, stepping in after a yearlong vacancy. The longtime director of the Portland Art Museum, Ferriso has a track record of expanding endowments, strengthening curatorial staff, and diversifying collections to include more Indigenous, Black, and women artists. He envisions museums as centered on people, programs, and objects, creating experiences that engage communities as much as the art itself. At the DMA, he will guide a planned building expansion while overseeing a major promised gift from local collectors, positioning the institution for a new chapter in modern and contemporary art.

Sotheby’s for-profit graduate school is embroiled in financial issues and sanctions.

Sotheby’s Institute of Art, the for-profit graduate school owned by Cambridge Information Group, has faced nearly two years of federal scrutiny under the U.S. Department of Education’s “Heightened Cash Monitoring 2” designation, signaling significant concerns about its financial stability. Public records show the school, whose name is licensed by Cambridge Information Group, has struggled with high costs, modest profits, and accumulated losses both in its New York and London operations, prompting internal reviews of its business model. While the school reports rebounding enrollment and renewed investment from its parent company, BrandEd, critics point to broader vulnerabilities in for-profit art education and lingering questions about sustainability. The designation limits access to federal aid in advance and places pressure on SIA to demonstrate long-term viability.

NASA’s plans for a nuclear reactor on the moon are prompting big design questions.

NASA’s plan to deploy a nuclear fission reactor on the moon by 2030 raises complex design challenges, particularly around site selection and protection. The reactor must sit near accessible water ice deposits to aid life support and fuel production for lunar operations, yet precise locations remain uncertain and require further orbital and rover data. Engineers also need to shield the reactor from regolith plumes kicked up by landers, a problem that may necessitate natural barriers or purpose-built landing pads. Resolving these questions is crucial not only for establishing a sustainable lunar base but also for developing technologies that will support long-term human exploration of Mars.
