Oysters, a Martini Tower, and More: What You Missed at Theory and Rōze Traore’s Bridges Salon

Two days of torrential rains couldn’t keep New York’s creative crowd—chefs, stylists, editors, actors, and artists—from stepping out for the night. On Oct. 30, the final and most anticipated stop for many was Bridges, where chef-hotelier Rōze Traore took over the French-Basque restaurant. The occasion? A food-forward fête of 'Theories,' a biannual print publication started by the clothing label Theory. The inaugural volume embraces Theory’s reputation for well-fitting wardrobe staple pieces reached for by the crowd in attendance at the salon, with features on Tonne Goodman, Traore, artist Emil Sands, and more. Guests mingled over Traore’s coastal-inflected bites—tuna crudo, spiced prawns, and oysters among them—and even found their way to Bridges’ red room: where a secret martini tower awaited.
