Thom Browne Celebrates His Dual Upper East Side Store Openings

Thom Browne personally welcomed a star-studded suite of cultural figures to an intimate cocktail in celebration of his 72nd Street flagship (which houses the latest releases in his men’s and women’s ready-to-wear line) as well as its neighboring Madison Avenue boutique (his first location dedicated exclusively to leather goods and footwear). An upscale materiality graced both new spaces, furthering the elegant, orderly retail experience Browne has fostered over the years. Within the Madison Ave shop, an array of Browne’s charming animal-shaped bags joined his beloved Hector bag, inspired by the designer’s own ten-year-old, wire-haired dachshund, Hector. On 72nd Street, beyond a Hector-shaped hedge, champagne and cups of ice cream were passed to affable guests adorned in Browne’s summer curriculum and spring summer classics collections. Attendees included Celine Song, Walton Goggins, Christine Baranski, Chris Appleton, Moses Sumney, Jack Innanen, Louisa Jacobsen, Reign Judge, and more.
