Exhibited for the first time in a museum, Paul Pfeiffer’s newest video-based manipulation, Three Figures in a Room, is a synced two-channel projection of the 2015 boxing match between Floyd Mayweather, Jr. and Manny Pacquiao. Through repetition and omission, it deconstructs the relationships between sound and image, autobiography and anthropology.
