The International Fine Prints & Drawings Association has announced its seventh annual Prints & Drawings Month, a series of free public programs running throughout October 2026. The lineup features leading curators from The Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Whitney Museum of American Art, the Morgan Library & Museum, and, for the first time, Dulwich Picture Gallery.

Some of the highlights include Rembrandt Reframed, tied to concurrent exhibitions at the Morgan and the Naples Art Institute; a talk on Marie Bracquemond’s drawings for the illustrated Paris weekly La Vie Moderne; a lecture on Degas’ relationship to paper as a medium; and Drawn Together: Collections in Conversation, examining recent print and drawing rehangs at LACMA, Princeton, and the Chazen Museum.
In-person events include a curator-led tour of “Roy Lichtenstein: Like New” at the Whitney and a reception for “Parasol Press: Breaking New Ground” at Print Center New York. “We send these programs out into the world in the hopes that they will address the many gaps in art historical knowledge about prints, drawings, and editions,” IFPDA executive director Jenny Gibbs says.
