“Second Sight: the Paradox of Vision in Contemporary Art”

This group exhibition exploring the primacy and conventions of the visual representation arrays more than 20 contemporary artists whose works deal with experiences beyond sight. Among the featured pieces are a sound sculpture by Terry Adkins, photo- and text-based installations by Sophie Calle, wall drawings by Tony Lewis, and a new site-specific installation on nonvisual learning by social-practice artist Carmen Papalia.
