ARCANA

Location: Canadian forest, two hours outside Toronto

Designers: Leckie Studio and Aruliden

On offer: Blink and you might miss this restorative retreat in the Canadian woodlands, opening in the fall. Conceptualized by Vancouver–based Leckie Studio and design agency Aruliden, @findarcana is comprised of a series of 275-square-foot mirrored cabins that seemingly blend into the landscape thanks to polished stainless steel cladding designed with a slightly distorted reflection to prevent collisions with wayward birds. The neutral pine-lined rooms are outfitted with contemporary kitchens, rainfall showers, and custom vinyl turntables loaded with a ‘sounds of arcana’ playlist.

Standout features: The mission of the property is to reconnect its guests with nature and offer experiences to elevate well-being. In addition to guided forest bathing and foraging excursions, an on-site sauna and meditative sound journeys crafted by the New York-based Woom Center and The Dojo Upstate will be on the menu.
