Design Dialogue No. 20

On Thurs., Sept. 10, Surface and Moooi co-hosted Design Dialogues No. 20 featuring Amsterdam-based designer Marcel Wanders and New York–based architect and designer David Rockwell (of Rockwell Group). The conversation, which took place at Moooi’s newly opened New York showroom, was moderated by editor-in-chief Spencer Bailey. Wanders and Rockwell discussed the relationship between theater and design, why products and buildings can often be like magic, and the inherent nature of risk-taking in their day-to-day work.
