The American Institute of Architects has released the list of its 2017 Institute Honor Awards. Among those recognized were SANAA, for Grace Farms, and Shigeru Ban Associates for their work on the Aspen Art Museum.

Designer Reed Krakoff will be Tiffany & Co.’s first Chief Artistic Officer, an expansive role ranging from jewelry design to ecommerce and marketing. Krakoff is best known for reviving Coach.
Grafton Architects’s Yvonne Farrell and Shelley McNamara were named co-artistic directors of the 2018 Venice Architecture Biennale. “The curators, who are well-known for the refinement of their work, are also known for their intense didactic activity and their ability to involve and fascinate new generations,” said Paolo Baratta, president of the Venice Biennale.
Two newly crowned design directors—Guillaume Meilland of Ferragamo and Francesco Risso of Marni—debuted their first collections at Men’s Fashion Week in Milan. Risso put on a “cheeky little rave,” while Meilland trotted out a more subdued offering.
