A Cocktail Channeling The Gordon's Upscale Cozy Feeling

A nod to the new bar at the Sixty Hotel.

Inspired by the Gordon Bar.

I wanted to play off the upscale living-room vibe of the space and create a cocktail with an experience of a well-traveled haberdasher. The hints of vanilla and white pepper in vodka make a perfect base to play off the walls and graphic flooring. The blood orange puts me next to the fireplace, while grenadine expresses the cozy sofa seating. The complexity extends through the bitters with hits of hibiscus and sour cherries. The spices refer to the pops of color in the art and accessories throughout the space.
