Surface and NTWRK Announce Two-Day Virtual Design and Retail Festival

A curated lineup of creators will showcase new products on NTWRK’s platform through live shoppable video streaming.

This month, Surface will partner with NTWRK to launch a two-day design fair that enables artists and designers to connect with consumers in an innovative virtual setting. Surface will curate a lineup of creators to showcase covetable design objects, leading-edge furniture and housewares, original artworks, next-wave fashion items, rarified product discoveries, and more on NTWRK’s innovative platform through live shoppable video streaming where consumers can watch, chat, and shop from the convenience of their mobile device. The programming, or festival, will take place on April 25–26 and will be hosted by the Surface editorial team.

A burgeoning force in the livestreaming retail space, NTWRK’s niche-focused festivals are supported by leading brand partnerships and a fervently engaged audience. The platform will dive deeper into the design space by leveraging three decades of Surface’s expertise around art, culture, design, fashion, travel, and more.

“Magazines have forever been a channel for discovering emerging brands and cutting-edge products,” says Marc Lotenberg, CEO of Surface Media. “This past year, Surface launched a shoppable platform, Design Dose, to merge the two worlds and offer our audience a highly edited selection of products. With NTWRK’s technology, we’ll take the customer journey to a new frontier by bringing our audience into the studios of the world’s leading designers and connecting them with the creators behind their favorite pieces of design.”
