Yinka Ilori takes The Flamboyance of Flamingos digital with his first interactive work.

Yinka Ilori’s Dreaming with Flamingos is the artist’s first digital interactive artwork, inspired by his London playground installation, The Flamboyance of Flamingos. Its digital version, created with Google’s Arts and Culture Lab, transforms storytelling and Nigerian folklore into an AI-driven exploration that features music and collectible digital art.

New research suggests that nanoflowers, intricate nanostructures formed by hydrothermal reactions, could substantially improve wound care by enhancing drug delivery, accelerating healing, and combating antibiotic resistance. Made from chemical interactions between metal oxides and organic compounds, they self-assemble into petal-like formations that could improve medication absorption and provide antibacterial, antioxidant, and anti-inflammatory benefits through applications like smart bandages.

This year’s edition of the Dallas Art Fair will run from April 10-13, with 90 galleries from 20 countries slated to show a mix of contemporary and modern art at the Fashion Industry Gallery. This year’s slate features new and returning exhibitors including Perrotin and Alexander Berggruen, Carvalho Park, Nino Meier, and OMR.

As Mexico City Art Week begins, uncertainty looms over the impact of newly announced U.S. tariffs on Mexico, with galleries unsure how collector behavior and costs will shift. While some fear economic instability and rising expenses, others believe Mexico’s art scene has grown independent enough to weather potential challenges. On Monday, however, Mexico’s President Claudia Sheinbaum shared that a one-month postponement of the tariffs had been negotiated successfully.

Alma Allen’s Joshua Tree timber and concrete studio and home hits the market for $2.95 million.

Alma Allen’s former Joshua Tree live-work space, a 14-acre compound designed in collaboration with architect Sophie Smits, has been listed for $2.95 million. The property, whose unique attributes include a pair of shingled pavilions, a Quonset hut studio, and L-shaped shipping containers, was most recently sold by the artist to Ace Hotel CEO Brad Wilson and his husband, the Rottet Studio designer David Davis.
