New York Puerto Rican artist Beatriz Santiago Muñoz has built a research-heavy practice exploring postcolonial society in the Americas. This solo show comprises eight video works, starring untrained actors, which veer between documentary and performance. Muñoz will also pull items from the museum’s permanent collection, including polaroids of Ana Mendieta’s famous “Body Tracks” performance, to curate an adjacent installation meant to resonate with her films.
