Ai Weiwei makes an appearance in collaboration with Jacques Herzog and Pierre de Meuron, taking on surveillance in an immersive multimedia installation. As visitors traverse the Armory’s cavernous drill hall, they are unable to escape their own images, recorded on drone-mounted cameras and projected onto the floor in front of them—and to an online audience.
