Between 1947 and 1964, Picasso produced thousands of ceramic objects at the Madoura Pottery workshop in France, experimenting with glazes and oxides and painting in the brilliant hues of the Mediterranean landscape. More than 150 of his ceramic works from that period are collected here, including his sculptural figures and reworkings of jugs and plates.
