Surface Hotel In-Room Partnership Terms and Conditions
By submission of materials, or otherwise participating in the Surface Hotel In-Room Partnership package/s, Representatives agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, including all eligibility requirements.
In-Room Partnership Eligibility:
At this time, In-Room Partnership is by invitation only, and determined by the Surface editorial staff.
How to Qualify:
Each participating hotel must meet the eligibility requirement. If you’ve received an invitation, visit the In-Room website and follow instructions to complete your purchase along with the required processing fee.
Entry:
Persons responsible for In-Room partnership purchasing will be designated as hotel representative (“Representative”) and all In-Room partnership correspondence will be directed to the contact information provided by the Representative.
By purchasing, Representative grants Surface Media the non-exclusive licence to publish, display, exhibit, digitize, or otherwise mention the partnership in any media for any purpose, including but not limited to, advertising or promotion of the In-Room partnership, for the duration of In-Room participation.
In-Room Partnership Benefits:
Annual In-Room benefits include: one (1) editorial story and guaranteed coverage of property’s news in keeping with Surface editorial vision; one (1) instagram post (@surfacemag); promotion on SurfaceMag.com as a premier Surface carrier; one (1) opportunity to offer promotions through Surface newsletters; and waived entry fee for Surface Travel Awards (if eligible).
Representative and Surface Media team will establish a deployment schedule for above-mentioned benefits.
Active In-Room partnership requires all fees to paid in full and in accordance to the terms provided in your invoice. Payments will be placed on an automated monthly schedule. Surface Media reserves the right to revoke the partnership for delinquent accounts.
In-Room partnerships will renew automatically after one year, unless Representative informs Surface Media of their desire to end their membership at least thirty (30) days prior to the end of the term. No refunds will be made available if member decides to end their membership prior to the end of the term.
Warranties:
The Representative warrants Representative has full authority and capacity to enter into this Agreement.
General:
By purchasing an In-Room partnership, you agree to accept these Terms and Conditions; you further agree to release, discharge, and hold harmless Surface Media, its respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and other individuals engaged in the development or execution of the Partnership, from any liability, claims, losses, and damages arising out of or relating to your participation in the In-Room partnership.
These Terms may be revised from time to time. The changes will not be retroactive, and the most current version of the Terms will govern our relationship with you. Representatives will be notified by email of any material revisions to these Terms.
Governing Law:
These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted under the laws of the State of New York.
