Kristin Victoria Barron founded her multidisciplinary studio practice in 2005. She produces a broad range of work including hand-finished lighting, decorative objects, and vessels, distinguished by their romantic material palette of brass, burled wood, and cast bronze. She has a knack for illustrating even the foggiest, most fleeting memories from her dream journals in dazzlingly clear terms. After relocating her studio from Los Angeles to an off-the-grid town near Gibraltar, she seems to have created her most compelling collection yet—a series of one-of-a-kind illuminated ceramic sculptures based on animals she encountered in the depths of her subconscious.
