The Hudson Valley design studio Black Creek Mercantile & Trading Co. is known for its sculptural wood cutting boards and hand-carved utensils, but this month founder Joshua Vogel switches gears, debuting his first cast-iron collection, in collaboration with influential San Francisco homewares store March. “I hope that people will connect with them being very material-rich, direct pieces that have a simple supportive design sensibility to them,” says Vogel of the inaugural range, which includes counter stools, a nesting trivet, and this marble-topped table and will continue to grow through 2018.
