Boy Smells Illuminates a Genderful Apothecary

On October 13, Boy Smells hosted an intimate dinner to celebrate its newly unveiled Genderful Apothecary exhibition at 632 Hudson in New York. The showcase shines a spotlight (or a moody candle) on the brand’s upcoming fall and winter scents, which include holiday-themed votive candles called Broken Rosary, De Nîmes, and Figurare, as well as the limited-edition Fantôme collection. Boy Smells founder Matthew Herman and CEO David Duplantis welcomed notable industry luminaries and activists, including model Richie Shazam, handbag designer Brandon Blackwood, fashion designer Christopher John Rogers, stylist Roberto Johnson, hair stylist David Lopez, comedian Grace Kuhlenschmidt, and more.
