International Center of Photography Honors Graciela Iturbide at the 2025 Spotlights Benefit

More than 175 influential art-world figures gathered for International Center of Photography’s 2025 Spotlights Benefit at The Altman Building last week, which raised more than $230,000 for the institution’s Women Artists in Focus Fund, dedicated to exhibitions, programming, and educational initiatives around women and non-binary artists in photography and film. This year’s luncheon, chaired by Almudena Legorreta and Stefano Tonchi, honored acclaimed Mexican photographer Graciela Iturbide, and coincided with her current ICP retrospective, “Serious Play,” on view through January 12. During the celebratory event, Iturbide spoke of her poetic practice in an insightful conversation with Karla Martínez de Salas, the head of editorial content for Vogue Mexico and Latin America.
