The Met’s Cantor Rooftop and Garden is now closed until 2030.

The Metropolitan Museum of Art closed its Cantor Roof Garden and outdoor café as part of a multiyear renovation. The project will update the terrace’s infrastructure and improve accessibility ahead of its planned reopening in spring 2030. The museum’s annual Roof Garden Commission, which typically debuts each April, will also pause during construction.

Dior and Dominique Crenn convened Angelenos for the opening of Monsieur Dior Beverly Hills.

Dior marked the opening of Monsieur Dior by Dominique Crenn in Beverly Hills with a private dinner attended by Tracee Ellis Ross, Lakeith Stanfield, Adrien Brody, and other guests from film and fashion. The restaurant, Dior’s first full-service dining venture in the U.S., features a French-inspired menu designed by Crenn, who became the first woman in America to earn three Michelin stars. Located on the third floor of the brand’s new Peter Marino–designed Rodeo Drive flagship, the space blends couture references with Crenn’s refined approach to storytelling through food. Monsieur Dior opens for lunch this week, with dinner service set to follow in mid-November.

Hermès praised her ability to bridge craft and contemporary culture, signaling a fresh chapter for the brand’s men’s universe.

Rosalía’s new album, Lux, will see a major creative evolution for the artist.

Rosalía will release her fourth studio album, Lux, on November 7, marking a shift toward a more introspective and spiritual sound. Created independently after parting ways with longtime collaborator El Guincho, the project draws on themes of mysticism, religion, and orchestral composition. The cover, which shows the singer in a nun’s habit, underscores the album’s devotional tone. With Lux, Rosalía signals a new phase of creative freedom and artistic reinvention following the global success of Motomami.

Louvre director Laurence des Cars was reportedly booed at a staff meeting following the heist.

Louvre director Laurence des Cars reportedly faced boos from staff during a meeting addressing Sunday’s jewel heist, which forced the museum to close until Wednesday. Employees voiced long-standing frustrations over staff cuts and outdated security systems they say left the institution vulnerable. Officials confirmed that $185 million has been allocated for security upgrades, including new CCTV installations. The Ministry of Culture later announced that Empress Eugénie’s crown, stolen in the robbery, had been recovered nearby.
