On September 28, the second-annual tasting experience Taste of Asia raised over $1.4 million for nonprofits Apex for Youth, City Harvest, and the Madison Square Garden Conservancy. The event saw 40 restaurants, curated by co-chair and COTE restaurateur Simon Kim, come together to celebrate New York City’s AAPI communities. Notable attendees such as fashion designer Phillip Lim, Monse and Oscar de La Renta co-creative director Laura Kim, author Min Jin Lee, designer Andrew Kwon, and Eva Chen rounded out the 1,000-strong guest list.
