After a two-year hiatus, 1-54 Contemporary African Art Fair returns to New York with a showcase of contemporary artwork from Africa and the African diaspora, and will feature the work of 50 artists represented by 25 galleries from New York, Africa, Europe and the Middle East. In addition to the fair, this year also sees the return of the 1-54 Forum, a series of talks and presentations led by pre-eminent curators, archivists, and other celebrated academics and speakers on the subject of art in the African diaspora. It’s a weekend not to be missed; purchase tickets here.
