Michigan’s Cranbrook Art Museum hosts Alexander Girard’s first retrospective in America. The exhibition showcases several works from the designer’s registry, including furniture, textiles, graphics, sculptures, and drawings. Girard was an influential contributor to the mid-century movement. Based in Grosse Pointe in Michigan, he worked closely with other key modernist figures like Eero Saarinen and Charles and Ray Eames.
