After recently wrapping up an acclaimed rooftop commission at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Berlin-based artist realizes Light Touch of Totality (2019), a major new commission comprised of five stainless steel rings adorned with more than 1,400 strands of wood and lapis lazuli beads. The ambitious new work is presented alongside a selection of recent sculptures that express abstract concepts through common materials and found objects such as rocks, lamps, and clocks, calling into question perceptions of the world at large.
