In this group exhibition, nine artists—Amy Bravo, Sacha Ingber, and Mira Putnam, among others—explore the places, objects, and motifs that contextualize their relationships to their homes, cultures, and the common ground between their lived experiences. Collectively, the sculptures, paintings, and mixed-media works focus on representations of architecture, nature, and domestic spaces. “Though diverse in their respective processes and points of view, the exhibition highlights mutual interests in our inhabited earth and the conditions of our material existence,” the gallery told Surface.
