reSENSE marks a new season of site-specific, multi-sensory art within reSOUND New York, the ever-evolving exhibition space presented by d’strict at Hero in Rockefeller Center. This enveloping edition spotlights four milestone additions: Katie Scott’s Story of Flowers, an animated short created with motion designer James Paulley and Japanese flower artist Azuma Makoto; MASARY Studios’ Glitche, a psychoacoustic video installation; SHOPLIFTER’s Fathoms, a colorful environment of cascading synthetic forms that invite touch; and WHISPER: Salon, a new format within reSOUND that presents 34 works by seven emerging Korean artists based in New York. These join several mesmeric continuing works, including Children of the Light’s luminous corridor installation, Transito, and interactive light sculpture Spiraling into Infinity II, in collaboration with Alexander Whitley Dance Company.
