The Tbilisi-based atelier unveils their largest U.S. showcase to date within a dramatic showcase that explores—as their name suggests—the emotional force of interiority and forced isolation during the pandemic. Backdropping a room with their recent output of curvilinear chairs and wooden chess tables is subtle background noise that highlights the soundtrack of urban domesticity. The atelier also tapped artists Shotiko Aptsiauri, Salome Chigalashvili, and Mariana Chkonia to reinterpret traditional Georgian folk motifs through a design lens.
