Disregarding traditional Western typologies, the Miami artist’s practice mixes and mingles the symbols and narratives of worlds as diverse as hip-hop culture and pre-Columbian Inca history. In this extensive survey, his drawings, installations, and sculptures are explored through the lens of three main themes: transmission, alchemy, and transcendence.
