Inside BOFFO's Spring Benefit, Aptly Titled “An Evening with Artists.”

A cornerstone of the Fire Island Pines arts community, BOFFO hosted its annual spring gala, aptly titled “An Evening with Artists,” complete with cuisine from Mexico City–based chef Alonso Madrigal and an enthralling performance by Grammy-nominated singer, songwriter, and actor Adam Lambert. During the celebratory, community focused affair, the nonprofit arts organization—which supports experimental, transformative, and socially engaged work through its flagship BOFFO Residency Fire Island—announced this year’s resident cohort: Michelle Uckotter, Acacia Marable, Amanda Ba, Sasha Gordon, Oscar Yi Hou, Eric N. Mack, Will Rawls, Sahar Khoury, and Alicia McCarthy. This season, running May 12 to September 21, marks the residency’s milestone 15th year nurturing the cultural landscape of Fire Island.
