Collectible Will Move to a Former Upper East Side Movie Theater

Collectible will return to New York City for its third U.S. edition November 6–8, relocating to a former Upper East Side movie theater. On East 86th Street, the venue’s expansive volumes are set to offer a contrasting architectural framework for the Brussels-founded contemporary design fair, while positioning it within the neighborhood’s historic art and design infrastructure.

Founded by Liv Vaisberg and Clélie Debehault, Collectible will introduce two distinct curatorial voices this year. TIWA Select founder Alex Tieghi-Walker will transform the Curated Section into the exhibition “Human Resources,” an exploration of late-20th-century office design. Lynette Nylander, executive digital director of Harper’s Bazaar, leads the Fashion Section, examining the increasingly porous boundary between fashion and design through furniture, retail environments, runway scenography, spatial interventions, and new commissions.

Collectible’s Main Section will once again assemble galleries working across 21st-century contemporary design; Bespoke is set to focus on independent studios producing commissioned and made-to-order pieces; and New Garde gives nonprofit organizations and design collectives space for experimentation with less conventional modes of presentation. Together, the sections expand the fair beyond the traditional booth model, positioning collectible design within broader conversations around interiors, fashion, commerce, and contemporary culture.

Beyond its exhibitions, the 2026 edition will encompass panels and conversations, private home and studio visits, and Club Collectible, its trade-focused initiative connecting architects and interior designers with makers. Tickets can be booked online now.
