The Queer Community Comes Together to Celebrate Camila Falquez

On June 2, New York’s queer community flocked to Hannah Traore Gallery for a lively cocktail to celebrate “Gods That Walk Among Us”, the first solo exhibition by Camila Falquez. With vibrant photographs that recast the Mexican, Colombian, and Spanish artist’s dearest friends as empowered royalty draped in lustrous fabrics, her body of work proved an ideal occasion to help kick off Pride month festivities across the city.
