EN Japanese Brasserie Returns to Fête a Trio of Dom Pérignon Vintages
In December 2024, EN Japanese Brasserie, a fashion and art world hotspot for two decades, closed its doors. That was until Dom Pérignon invited founder Reika Alexander and executive chef Kenjiro Shioyama to revive the legendary locale’s cuisine for Expressions of Harmony, an experiential New York City pop-up accompanying three new releases: Dom Pérignon Vintage 2017, Vintage 2008 Plénitude 2, and Rosé Vintage 2010. During the glitzy opening night party, a guest list of cultural elites dined on the restaurant’s famed fried chicken paired with shimmering pours of Dom Pérignon. The sensorial immersion included a sonic suite designed by Jonathan Weiss of Oswalds Mill Audio and an ephemeral dining room serving uni soy milk ice cream with caviar and gold, as well as saikyo miso black cod. On the dance floor, the fete concluded with a surprise performance by Mark Ronson. Open to the public through June 14, Expressions of Harmony will transfer to Los Angeles June 25–26.
