DESIGNER OF THE DAY

Designer of the Day: Krista Sharif of Brite Bodies

After Krista Sharif met fellow designer Kate Hayes at her eponymous design studio, the duo decided to launch a collection of exuberant furniture and home accessories with underlying themes of escapism and transcendence. The result is Brite Bodies, a series of wildly original yet functional conversation pieces that reinterprets the bold spirit of their favorite artists, from the playful maximalism of Ettore Sottsass and the modern punk panache of Vivienne Westwood to Antoine de Saint Exupéry’s planetary watercolor illustrations.
