Stars Gathered for the Grand Opening of RH London, The Gallery in Mayfair

Set between New Bond Street’s fashion boutiques and the tailors of Savile Row, RH London, The Gallery in Mayfair represents the unification of three storied properties by British architectural firm Foster + Partners. For the opening night of the superlative five-floor design destination, connected by a central panoramic glass lift, an A-list cast from film, music, design, and fashion traversed the levels, each enhanced with elevated pop-up bars serving Negroni sbagliati by Milan’s famed Bar Basso, Vesper Martinis by Alessandro Palazzi of Duke’s Bar London, and craft cocktails by legendary bar figure Colin Field. From the limestone portico that opens into the Architecture & Design Library to the gold leaf ceiling of The Dining Room at RH London, a lavish yet warm materiality informs the architecture—and lent an artful elegance to the indelible inaugural gathering.
