On the evening of Nov. 3, a celebratory cocktail and dinner party was held for the debut of Centre magazine, following the grand opening of Brickell City Centre in Miami. Produced by Surface Studios in partnership with Swire Properties, the semi-annual lifestyle publication is distributed throughout the nine-acre development and in Swire hotel properties worldwide.
More than 100 guests were treated to a cocktail hour and dinner on the terrace of Quinto La Huella restaurant at EAST Miami hotel. Live music, curated by Michaelangelo L’Acqua, included live performances by a trio from Young Arts and by DJ Ella. Château d’Esclans provided a variety of rosé wines to pair with the menu, while Voss Water kept guests hydrated.
Centre welcomed guests featured in the issue, including Friends of the Underline founder Meg Daly, landscape designer Raymond Jungles, Climate Ribbon designer Hugh Dutton, and more. Speaking to the well-heeled crowd, editor-in-chief Jennifer Parker remarked on writing the issue, saying “We are only as good as the stories we tell. The people sitting right here, who shared their stories with us, are nothing short of amazing.”
