At PS21's Gala in the Pavilion, a Night of Performance to Celebrate Francis J. Greenburger

An indoor-outdoor celebration of the Upstate New York art ecosystem, PS21 Center for Contemporary Performance’s Gala in the Pavilion honored Francis J. Greenburger—the founder of neighboring Hudson Valley institution, Art Omi. Greenburger was awarded (by Senator Kirsten Gillibrand and Assemblymember Didi Barrett) the first-ever PS21 Polestar Award during an effervescent evening that saw the center raise $330,000 in support of its programming. PS21 artistic and executive director Vallejo Gantner oversaw a meadow-set cocktail reception, dinner by Swoon KitchenBar of Hudson, New York, an auction with Jacqueline Towers-Perkins, and a night of world-class performances by Adam Tendler, Ariadne Greif, Paul Lazar, Julia Kent, Sister Sylvester, and Mirissa Neff.
