In August, The Future Perfect opened a fourth permanent location—this time within Miami’s landmarked Villa Paula, once the Cuban consulate as well as a private residence. The neoclassical manse, accessible by appointment, joins The Future Perfect’s St. Luke’s Townhouse in New York City, Goldwyn House in the Hollywood Hills, and a gallery in San Francisco’s Pacific Heights neighborhood as destinations for site-specific installations from an illustrious roster of artists and designers. In conjunction with the opening, longtime managing director Laura Young, who joined The Future Perfect in 2014, will see her role extend across all four gallery operations.

Young will act as a unifying force alongside The Future Perfect founder David Alhadeff. “The opening of our Miami location marks an exciting new chapter for The Future Perfect. It’s a privilege to help guide our growth across four incredible cities, each with their own vibrant design community,” Young shares with Surface. “Working alongside David and our incredible team, I am continually inspired by the artists we represent and the collectors we connect with—together, we are all committed to pushing the boundaries of contemporary design and creating spaces where creativity thrives.”
